Child Safety
Published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) for Be and other BetaTQ products.
These Child Safety Standards apply to Be (Google Play: Be by BetaTQ, package com.betatq.be) and to other BetaTQ Company Limited products that allow user-generated content. They are the publicly accessible standards required by Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy.

Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
BetaTQ has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). CSAM — also called child sexual abuse imagery — is any visual depiction, including photos, videos, livestreams, or computer-generated imagery, of a child engaged in sexually explicit conduct, or any content that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. Sharing, creating, requesting, possessing, or distributing CSAM is illegal and is strictly prohibited on Be and across BetaTQ services.
The following are banned, without exception:
- Uploading, posting, sending, or storing CSAM
- Soliciting sexual content or sexual activity involving a child
- Grooming, sexual extortion, or other CSAE of a minor
- Links, instructions, or discussion that facilitate CSAE or CSAM
- Any sexualization of a real or depicted child, including AI-generated CSAM
How we address CSAM
When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM or other CSAE on Be, we take appropriate action under these standards and applicable law. That includes promptly removing the content, preserving relevant records as required, restricting or permanently banning the account, and reporting confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authority.
We review reports of CSAM as a priority. We may also use automated detection and human review to find and remove prohibited child-safety content. We do not notify a user in a way that would interfere with a lawful investigation.
Reporting CSAM and child-safety concerns
Users can report CSAM, CSAE, or any child-safety concern in the Be app through the in-app report or feedback tools on posts, profiles, messages, and other content — without leaving the app. Anyone can also report directly to our child-safety team:
Please include a description of the content, where it appears (for example a profile, post, or chat), the approximate time, and any screenshots or links that help us locate it. Do not forward or attach CSAM itself when emailing us.
Child safety laws and official reports
Be and BetaTQ comply with applicable child-safety laws and regulations. We have a process to report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and/or the relevant regional authority, including law enforcement in Tanzania and other jurisdictions where we operate.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. You may also report CSAM to NCMEC’s CyberTipline.
Child safety point of contact
The designated child-safety point of contact for Be and BetaTQ — including for notifications from Google Play about CSAE content on our platform — is:
BetaTQ Company Limited
Child Safety — Be
be@betatq.com
This contact can speak to our enforcement and review procedures and can take action if required.
Age and accounts
Be is not directed at children. You must meet the minimum age required by law in your country and by the app stores to create an account. Accounts we determine belong to underage users, or that are used to target or exploit children, may be removed.
Related policies
These standards sit alongside our Terms and Privacy policy. Violating them is grounds for immediate content removal and account termination.
